Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ClubMatchBot (the "Service"), operated by ClubMatchBot ("we", "us"). By creating an account, being added to a club roster, or sending or receiving SMS through the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a manager account. Members added to a club roster must be at least 13 years old; clubs are responsible for obtaining parent or guardian consent for members under 18 where required.

2. The Service

ClubMatchBot is a business-to-business software service that helps tennis and pickleball clubs run matchmaking, ladders, and open-play events using SMS as the primary member interface. Managers manage their own club's roster and settings; members interact by text.

3. SMS terms

• Members are opted in by their club manager and confirm consent by activating their profile.
• Message frequency varies — typically 2–10 messages per week per member.
• Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Reply STOP to opt out; reply HELP for help.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or send unwanted content to other members.
• Use the anonymous proxy chat for anything other than coordinating matches and events.
• Send spam, unsolicited marketing, or bulk messages unrelated to club activity.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Upload roster data you do not have permission to use.

5. Manager responsibilities

Club managers are responsible for the accuracy of their roster, obtaining member consent to be added, and moderating disputes within their club. Managers agree to comply with all applicable laws, including telecommunications and privacy regulations.

6. Fees

Pricing is described at sign-up or in a separate order form. Pilots are offered at no charge for the agreed pilot period. We do not charge members for SMS; carrier rates may apply.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery of SMS, availability of matches, or fitness of the Service for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClubMatchBot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, we will delete or anonymize account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ClubMatchBot operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
